This two-day, guided group trip will show you the region’s two must-see mountain ranges– the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Smoky Mountains. On the first day, you’ll hike through one of America’s most picturesque National Parks, Great Smoky Mountain National Park. On day two, we’ll get you out rock climbing near Highlands. Itinerary
Friday
– Airport pickup at Asheville Regional Airport & transfer to Trailborn Highlands. Airport pickup will be at 3pm ET, please schedule flights accordingly.
– Private welcome dinner at the Highlands Supper Club
Saturday
– Light bites and coffee at Trailborn
– Full-day Great Smoky Mountains tour, led by Good Trip Adventures. You’ll hike through lush forests, alongside picturesque creeks and waterfalls. You can expect to hike ~4-6 miles with some elevation gain and loss over well-maintained trails. Your Good Trip guide will teach you all about the history of the US’s most visited National Park, as well as the incredible eco-diversity in the region. Transportation, picnic lunches, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.
Sunday
– Light bites and coffee at Trailborn
– Rock climbing with Fox Mountain Guides includes ~4 hours of climbing and is open to all levels. Your expert, certified guide will take care of all safety logistics and equipment. Transportation, picnic lunches, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.
– Transfer back to Asheville Regional Airport. Airport drop-off will be at 2pm, please schedule flights accordingly.
